Formerly of Brazil, Indiana, the daughter of Charles Harrison Bolin and Julia Daugherty Bolin, she graduated from Annunciation Grade School, Brazil High School and was a member of Tri Kappa.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Quilters Club and Homemakers Club.

She is preceded in death by her husband Burt Nees; parents; sister, Eileen Bailey and brother, Roger Bolin.

She is survived by her children, Nancy (Dan) Carr, Mary Eileen (Ron) Wehrmann, Lon (Theresa) Nees, Patricia (Roy) Klanac and Michael (Kathryn Carroll) Nees, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23 at Feeney-Horak Shadeland Mortuary in Indianapolis, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22 from 3-8 p.m. at the mortuary.
