Connie Charlene Wallace Horton, 51, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, June 20, 2005 in the Terre Haute Union Hospital.
She was born July 19, 1953 in Terre Haute to Clyde Leroy and Lily Sutherland Moreland. She had been the owner and operator of Connie's Beauty Box, was a member of the Knightsville O.E.S., THQMA, a former member of the Brazil Moose and Eagles and loved atending auctions and watching quarter midget races.
Her father, and her first husband Lester "Banjo" Wallace, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Harold Horton whom she married September 18, 1999 in Brazil; her mother, Lily Sutherland Moreland Lawson; 2 sons, Dan Wallace and his wife, Heather, of Carbon and Bradly "BJ" Wallace and wife, Monica, of Goshen; 2 stepsons, Daniel Lee Horton of Paxton and Gregory Paul Horton of Pleasantville; 2 stepdaughters, Elizabeth Anne Horton of Carlisle and Eva Marie Horton of Paxton; 2 brothers, Ron Moreland of Sullivan and Joe Moreland of Carlisle; a sister, Donna Cornetto of Washington, PA; 6 grandchildren, Danni Wallace, Bradly Wallace, Haleigh McGrew, Colton Wallace, Brylee Wallace and Cameron Wallace and several step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 24, 2005 in the Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Avenue, Brazil with visitation from noon until services. Burial will be in the Rosedale Cemetery, Rosedale, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Croy's Creek Church Missionary Fund.
