Leonard "Gus" Guzzino, born in Patterson, Louisiana, and a life-long resident, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at 12:30 p.m. surrounded by his family, including Jon, Gina, Matt and Tara Crooks of Brazil, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Memorial Day at St. Jospeh Catholic Church in Patterson, La.

Mr. Guzzino is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lula Hopkins Guzzino; four daughters, Gina Guzzino Crooks and her husband, Jon, both of Brazil, Indiana; Vicki Guzzino Guarisco and her husband, Steve; Angel Guzzino Dugas and her husband, Carl; and Christi Guzzino Armato and her husband, Carl; one brother, Gerald C. Guzzino; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Guzzino, Sr.
