Daniel R. Buchanan, age 50, Brazil, passed away Wednesday afternoon.

He was born in Clinton, IN, on January 31, 1955, the son of Elijah and Dorothy Grimes Buchanan. He was a self-employed handyman. He was in the National Guard 38th Infantry Division.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Faye (Higgins) Buchanan; children, Bobby, Jason and Matt Buchanan, all of Brazil; 3 grandchildren; brothers, James McCurry, Brazil, IN; Thomas (Sandie) Berry, KY; John (Jeanne) Berry, Coatesville; Donald (Kay) Berry, KY; sisters, Gloria (Ed Christian) Williams, Fillmore and Gail (Chris) Houser, Lena; step-brothers, Gary (Mary) Rominger, Greencastle and Barry Rominger, FL. He was preceded in deah by his parents.

Services will be on Friday at 12:00 P.M. at the Chandler-Hays Funeral Home, Greencastle with Pastor Ernie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
