G.C. "Bud" Strege, 87, Harmony, IN, died Saturday, July 30, 2005, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

He was born December 23, 1917 in Lidgerwood ND, the son of Max August and Augusta (Miller) Strege.

He was a minister and elder at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Brazil, IN. He was an automobile mechanic at Mace Lincoln-Mercury in Terre Haute, IN.

He married Vivian (Baxter) Strege on November 16, 1942, and she survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Susan L. Herron and husband Richard A., Harmony, IN; a son, Donald F. Strege and wife Karen, Brazil, IN; a sister, Clementine Heath, Chicago, IL; a brother, James Strege and wife Esther, Dixon IL; and a granddaughter Stephanie S. Rusk and husband Mason, South Bend, IN.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Brazil, IN with Michael Bowman officiating. Visitation will be at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Sunday, August 7, 2005 form 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Private interment services will be held later.
