EFFIE LOUISE BROWER

Effie Louise Brower, 74 Bridgeton, IN, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2.

Born in Parke County, she was a daughter of the late Roy Urbain, Sr., and Viola Brown Urbain.

She was a homemaker. She spent her life being a wonderful, loving, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Richard "Dick" Brower; son and daughter-in law, Glenn L. and Juanita Bullock Brower; one son-in-law, Thomas Terstegge, Jr.; two sisters, Evelyn Naughles and Betty Ward; three brothers, James Urbain, Levi Urbain and Roy Urbain, Jr., and a brother-in-law, Robert Brower.

Surviving are her children, Rita Hiland and Rhonda Terstegge, both of Bridgeton, IN; Brenda (Mike) Briddick, Rosedale, IN; Lori (Tim) Dickey, Montezuma, IN; Tonya (Russ) Leek, Center Point, IN; and Ben (Geralyn) Brower, Clinton, IN; three sisters, Mary Smith, Bridgeton, IN; Alberta Brower and Hazel Martin, both of Brazil, IN; two brothers, Delbert (Ruth) Urbain, Brazil, IN and Gary Urbain, Rockville, IN; four sisters-in-law, Dorthea Urbain, Center Point, IN; Shirley Urbain, Bridgeton, IN; Virginia (Cliff) Overpeck, Rockville, IN and Margaret (Lee) Burks of Ohio; eleven grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Lawson-Miller Chapel, Brazil. Pastor Perry Mager will officiate and burial will be in Clear Run Cemetery at Bridgeton. Visitation is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and prior to services Saturday.
