Deanna L. Duncan, 40, of Brazil died at 6:52 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, in the emergency room of St. Vincent Clay Hospital after suddenly collapsing at home.

Born in Brazil on Feb. 12, 1965, she was the daughter of Donald E. Duncan Sr. and Sandra Harbaugh Duncan and was a 1983 graduate of Brazil High School.

For the past year she had been a qualified medication aide at Lee Alan Bryant Health Care, east of Rockville, and earlier worked at Holly Hill and Cloverleaf Healthcare, locally.

She was a member of the Otter Creek Christian Church where she was baptized.

Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Sandra and Bill Monce, Brazil; her father and stepmother, Donald L. Sr. and Sharon Duncan, Terre Haute; two children, Hayley Miller, Terre Haute, and Zachary Tyler, Brazil; one brother, Donald L. Duncan Jr., Spencer; six step-sisters, Beckie Duncan, Debbie Overton, Sherri Payne, Terri Allen, Melanie Stout, Sherrie Stout and Lisa Styleburg; one step-brother, Charles VanNess; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Miller Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Clearview Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
