Anna Katherine Dalton, 90, of Brazil, died at 11:55 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2005, at Holly Hill Healthcare where she had been a resident for several years.

She was born August 18, 1915, in Brazil, Indiana as the daughter of Rance and Rose Durkin Doyle. She graduated from Brazil High school with the Class of 1933. On May 1, 1937 she married James T. Dalton who preceded her in death September 2, 1992 after 55 years of marriage.

Anna Katherine worked at the offices of local dentist Dr. R.L. Phillips for 18 years as a dental assistant. She was an active member of the Annunciation Church and Mothers Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter, Annette Anderson on November 28, 1996; three brothers, Bernard, George and John Doyle and two sisters, Rosemary Thompson and Alice Rardin.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Bratton and husband Michael of Carmel, IN and two sons, J. Thomas Dalton and wife Allison of Hudson, FL and Dr. Michael J. Dalton and wife Jacqueline of Brazil.

She is also survived by grandchildren, Brad Dalton and wife Catrin of Petaluma, CA; Brian Dalton of Montezuma, IN; Dr. Kevin Anderson and wife Sue-Ellen of Carmel, IN; Dr. Julie Shaw and husband Dr. Michael of Brazil; Dr. Bart Anderson and wife LeAnne of Terre Haute, IN; Dr. Trent Anderson and wife Jennifer of Bloomington, IN; Kelly Buchanan and husband Ken of Carmel, IN; Kristen Montgomery and husband Tony of Carmel, IN; Dr. Jerad Dalton and wife Dr. Darla of Sellersburg, IN and Ashley Dalton of Brazil and fourteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 22 at Moore Funeral Home with the Rosary Service conducted at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Anunciation Church of Brazil with Father Patrick Doyle officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
