Rozella Chastain, 75, of Terre Haute, IN, and formerly of Poland and Brazil areas, died August 30, 2005 in the emergency room of Regional Hospital.

She was born January 20, 1930, in Owen County the daughter of George and Luda Haltom Hunsicker.

During her working years she had been a substitute postal carrier for 15 years retiring in 1967. She was a former member of the United Church of Christ in Poland and the Tri-County Home Ec. Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chastain Jr.; a sister Nina Spelbring; and two brothers, Ralph Hunsicker and Woodrow Hunsicker.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Miller of Terre Haute, IN; son and daughter in law, Billy Joe and Patricia Chastain of Brownsburg, IN; grandchildren, Christa and Gary Foust Jr. of Cloverdale, IN; Scott and Lynn Miller of Coatesville, IN; Kevin Miller of Patricksburg, IN; Timothy and Becky Chastain of Brownsburg, IN; and Gretchen and Matt Zientz of Brownsburg, IN; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2005 at French Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Foust Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Poland Zion Cenetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2005 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Brownsburg Lion's Club Post #84.
