Josephine "Jo" Frye Price, 85, of Brazil, passed away September 23, 2005, in her home. She was born May 23, 1920, in Pleasantville, IN. the daughter of Frank Bedwell and Addie Mae Benefiel Bedwell. She graduated from Dugger High School. She moved to the Brazil area following her marriage to Millard Frye on November 13, 1936. He preceded her in death in December of 1977.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Bedwell Tire, several local dentists, Wabash Valley Trucking and for the Clay Health Center. She also worked for Columbia House, retiring in 1979.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Knightsville Chapter #238, and Brazil Business and Professional Women. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, being out of doors, playing Euchre and traveling to North Carolina. She also was an accomplished oil painter.

She is survived by her husband Ernest R. Price, whom she married July 16, 1979; her two sons and daughters-in-law, William J. and Bonnie Frye of Copely, OH, and Michael A. and Melody Frye of Brazil; 9 grandchildren, Cindy Cousert, Greg Frye, Jay Frye and wife, Laura, William Andrew "Andy" Frye, Kelly Luecke and husband, Eric, Josh Frye, Alicia Murphy, Joe Frye and wife, Kristin, and Andrew Michael "Andy" Frye; seven great grandchildren; one daugher-in-law, Lois Frye-Asher, of Indianapolis; many nieces, nephews and other extended family,

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Millard Frye; her son, Larry Frye; two grandsons, Ryan Frye and Adam Frye; two brothers, "Pop" Rollie Douglas Bedwell and Frank Bedwell Jr; four sisters, Gladys Delsey Lucas, Audrey F.aye Abrams, Opal Adeline Gallagher, and Glotien Hale.
