Grace H. Leohr, 87, of Brazil, died October 1, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. at Clay County Health Center.

She was born in Clay City December 14, 1917, to Ishamel and Alice Staley White. She married Woodrow Leohr on September 26, 1939. She was a homemaker, devoted to Christ and her family. She ministered with her husband at Deliverance Temple Church.

In her late 70s she achieved her GED. She enjoyed painting, gardening and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister Lorene DuBois.

She is survived by her husband; a son Tom Leohr and wife Nancy of Spencer; a daughter, Goldie Alice Parker and husband William of White Plains, KY; a brother, Richard White and wife Flossie of Brazil; two sisters Louise Kelly of Brazil and Betty Sebastian of Peru, IN; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren as well as many friends and extended family.

Services will be Wednesday, October 5, at 11:00 a.m. at French Funeral Home with Pastor Viola Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasantview Cemetery in Owen County.
