Lois A. Daugherty, 72, of Brazil, formerly of Redkey, IN, passed away October 10, 2005 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born June 3, 1933 in Morley, TN, the daughter of Robert Taylor Andrews and Parlee Massengill Andrews. July 7, 1949 she married Charles Edward Daugherty. He preceded her in death June 8, 1982. She worked for Sheller-Globe Manufacturing in Montpelier, IN, and retired from there several years ago. She was the devoted mother to her five sons and a wonderful mother-in-law. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Martin J. and Jodi Daughtery of Knightsville, Scott E. and Cathy Daughtery of Muncie, IN, Glenn L. and Ginnie Daughtery of Corydon, IN, and Byron A. and Rosa of Redkey, IN; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother James Andrews of Kingsport, TN; many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Donald E. Daughtery; two sisters, Ruth Stivers and Sue Lasley; one brother, Clayton Andrews.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Cross Funeral Home in LaFollette, TN. Burial will follow at Evans Cemetery. Visitation will be directed to the Kidney Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the French Funeral Home. Light a candle in her memory at www.frenchfuneralhome.com
