Ransom Olin "Bob" Burke, 89, formerly of Merom, died Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Good Samaritan Health Care in Kissimmee, Fla. Bob lived in Indiana before moving to Florida in 1976.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Mildred L. Brinson Burke, and two brothers, Max and Harold Burke.

He is survived by a brother-in-law, Nathan W. Brinson; nieces, Vonne Rodgers and Karen Hatton of Fayetteville, Ga., Eloise Creed and Sharon Lee McCracken, of Sullivan; and a nephew, David Brinson of Harmony.
