Darrell Ray Moore Sr., 68, of Brazil, passed away at 2:34 p.m. October 16, 2005 at home following an extended illness. He was born October 11, 1937 to Roy Otis and Vicie Marie Rogers Moore. He married Dinah Waymire August 2, 1958. He worked for Bob Romas Trucking as well as Chambers Trucking and Patterson Texaco Gas Station. He enjoyed working on automobiles and televisions as well as racing stock cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters: Charles Nelson Moore, Denver Moore, Verti Spears, and Betty Keele. A son in law Charles Frye and grandson Dillon Wright.

Survivors include his wife Dinah, sons and daughters-in-law Darrell Ray Moore Jr. and wife Leandra of Brazil, William Michael Moore and wife Kelly of Brazil, Kevin Lee Moore and wife Susie of Brazil, and Steven Gayle Moore and wife Tammy. Daughters and sons-in-law Loretta Marie Frye of Brazil, Jayne Ann Hofmann and husband Tom of Brazil, Amy Lynn Wright and husband Arley of Brazil. A brother John Franklin Moore of Brazil. Sisters Rachel Branham, Linda Brown, Frances Baker, Becky Painter all of Muncie. Grandchildren Tina Moon, Ina Wright, Natasha Peters, Darrell Ray Moore III, Chris Frye, Misty Frye, Ashley Frye, Jessica Moore, Chassity Waggle, Jennifer Moore, Pam Moore, Daryl-Ann Moore, David Moore, Billy Moore, Brittney Wright, and Savannah Wright. Great -- Grandchildren Dakota Laswell, Brayden Wright, Dallas Wright, Sage Waggle, and Cullen Andrew Peters.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, 1:00pm, Wednesday October 19, 2005 with Danny Romanyk officiating. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery.
