Lelah R. (Sinders) Gallagher, 91, Jasonville, IN, died at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, IN.

She was born on June 20, 1914 in Clay County, IN, the daughter of Richard Puckett and Nellie (Dysert) Puckett.

She was Owner/Operator of Coalmont Grocery Store, Corner Market, Nanlee Nell Dinette and she also farmed.

She attented the New Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Clee Sinders on January 18, 1961 and Michael H. Gallagher on November 28, 1987; one sister, Muriel Bledsoe; four brothers, Infant Puckett, Brawn Puckett, Joseph Puckett, Luther Puckett; and three step-sons, Mike Gallagher, Philip Gallagher and Cecil Gallagher.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Sinders of Coalmont, IN; a step-son, Cedric Cox; and a grandson, Jay Sinders of Coalmont, IN.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home, 731 East Main St., Jasonville, IN 47438. Officiating will be Pastor Harold Thomas & Pastor Brad Stout. Burial will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN. Visitation is 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the fu neral home.
