Virginia Dixie Rolison Stephenson, 78, formerly of Staunton, died at 4:17 a.m., October 29, 2005, at Cloverleaf Health Care in Knightsville, IN.

Born March 17, 1928 in Magee MS, she was the daughter of George and Dlo Sullivan. She worked for Moore Store, Oehlers Department Store, 3D and Big Wheel. Virginia was a member of Community Missionary Church in Brazil. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, mushroom hunting, camping and being with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands John L. Rolison and Tom Stephenson; a daughter Brenda Lundy; two brothers G.D., Sullivan and James Sullivan.

Survivors include two sons Doug Rolison and wife Beverly of Poland, IN and Larry Rolison and wife Renee of Brazil, IN; two daughters Pat Tretter ahd husband Phil of Paris IL, and Debbie Mustard and husband Ralph of Brazi, IN; grandchildren Casey Rolison, Lindsay Rolison, Noah Tretter, Caleb Tretter, Holley Myers and husband Scott, John Robert Rolison and wife Jamie, Heather Mullenix and husband Chris, Shawn Coleman and wife Liz, Mandy Batchelor and husband Reynolds, Chris Coleman, Jeff Lundy and wife Jessica, and Autumn Lundy; great-grandchildren, Shelby Nicole Coleman, Skyler Batchelor, Tanner Batchelor, and Carson Batchelor, Regan Coleman, Dayton Coleman, Dawson Myers, Carter Mullenix, Owen Rolison, Brianna Lundy, Peyton Lundy and Ashton Lundy; four sisters Ann, Doria, Ola and Mary.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rule Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
