Donald Eugene Bray, age 69, Brazil, IN; died Tuesday morning at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, IN.
Born July 1, 1936 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Ernest Thurston and Mildred Marie (McCormick) Bray and was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis.
Mr. Bray was employed for several years as a machine operator for General Motors Truck & Bus in Indianapolis, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Greencastle and a former member of Masonic Lodge 542, Groveland and Murat Shrine, Indianapolis.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Sammons and husband, Patrick O., Brazil, IN; Karen Escoff and husband, John R., Brazil, IN; and Donna Price, Jefferson City, MO; four sons, Robert Tempke and wife, Sherri, Danville, IN; Kevin T. Bray, Danville, IL; Jeffery Bray and wife, Nancy, Greencastle, IN and Lance Bray, Chicago, IL; two nieces, Beth Ann Cooper and Brenda Gleason, both of Chandler, AZ; three nephews, Robin Dotson and Rick Dotson, both of Phoenix, AZ and Bobby Lee Dotson, Las Vegas, NV; seventeen grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Betty Jean Bray and two sisters, Norma Jean Cooper and Frankie Dotson.
Services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God in Greencastle, IN. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, IN. Visitation is on Thursay from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God. Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home in Greencastle, IN is in charge of arrangements.
