Nancy Ann Waymire, 58, of Staunton, passed away November 3, 2005 at 12:50 p.m at her residence. She had been battling cancer for the past two years.

She was born September 25, 1947 in Brazil, the daughter of Wilbert and Minnie Johnson Nussel. She married William "Bill" Waymire on December 31, 1966, he survives.

She worked at Columbia House as a sales supervisor for 33 years. She attended the Staunton United Methodist Church and was an active supporter of their food pantry. She and her husband were also members of ABATE motorcycle organization.

Nancy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was known as a caring and fun loving person. She was so grateful to her physician Dr. Kunapareddy and staff for the wonderful care this past two years.

She is survived by her husband Bill Waymire of Staunton; one daughter and son-in-law Andrea Lynn and Bruce Minor of Staunton; two grandsons, Cody Minor and Noah Minor; one brother, Richard Nussel and wife Jill of Staunton; one sister Linda Brown and husband Allen, of Brazil; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at French Funeral Home with Brother Doug Parkey officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00-1:00 p.m.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society or to the Staunton Methodist Church Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
