Cynthia Louise Shelton, age 56, of Brazil, died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at her residence.

She was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 31, 1949 as the daughter of Robert Randolph and Daisy Lee Stogner Fisher Jr. She married Robert John Shelton December 22, 1967 at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. She entered military service with the U.S. Air Force and served until her honorable discharge October 31, 1968 at Lackland Air Force Base.

She was employed as a data processing operator at several different companies and had worked for the past several years as a sales associate at Walmart.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert R. Fisher Jr.; her son, Robert John Shelton Jr.; her husband, Robert John Shelton Sr. and her sister, Brenda Fisher Stevens.

She is survived by one daughter, Farrah Shelton Gibbens and husband Jack of Brazil; grandson Jonathan Andrew Gibbons of Brazil; her mother, Daisy Lee Fisher of Longwood, Florida; one sister, Susan Lumpkin and husband Gene of McCaysville, Georgia; two brothers, Robert R. Fisher III and wife Susie of Tangerine, Florida and Timothy A. Stevens of Longwood, Florida; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and her Walmart family of Brazil.

At the request of the deceased, her body will be cremated and a memorial service conducted at a family gravesite at a later date.
