He was preceded in death by his parents Len Love and Gertrude Carrithers Love, his sister Lucille Barrett, brothers Wayne and Carl Love.
He is survived by his ex-wife and special friend Joann Driscoll; daughter Kathy McKee; sisters Verta (Robert) Snyder, Wanetta Sefton and Kathryn Walton; grandchildren Kristopher and Samantha McKee; special friends, Dora Blankenship and Darlene Grice, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was a member of the Dayton Ski Club, American Legion 598, V.F.W. of Kettering; he graduated from Purdue University, was a member of the American Society of Metals. Kenneth was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. Ken and his fellow legionnaires organized the Rocky Couch Memorial Golf Outing with all proceeds going to Hospice of Dayton.
A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Post 598 of Kettering, Ohio, Saturday, November 12, 2005, from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Expressions of sympathy may be made at http://www.newcomerfamily.com.
