Rhonda Rae Dickison, 54, of Turner, died at 5:50 p.m. November 14, 2005, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
She was born in Greencastle, March 24, 1951, the daughter of Carl and Elaine Paris Batchelor. Rhonda attended Brazil High School. She worked as a cook and waitress at the I-70 restaurant and most recently as a cook at the Center Point Country Junction. For a short while she drove a truck with her husband. She attended Turner Community Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Post No. 2. She married Harry E. Dickison July 10, 1970. She loved to spend time with her family, dancing, cooking, reading, sewing, swimming, her poodles and decorating for the holidays.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Tina Johnson.
Survivors include her husband Harry E. Dickison (Rodger), two sons Harry E. Dickison Jr. and Joshua C. Dickison and fiance Juanita Smith; daughter Lisa Laitas and husband Anthony; step daughter Lori Pawless; daughter-in-law Sheree Dickison; brother Gary Lee Batchelor; sisters Penny Batchelor, Angie Allen, Shelly Hoffman and Carla Hoskins; grandchildren Austin Dickison, Tyler Sickison, Brockton Dickison, Zachary Dickison, Mike Raab, Nikki Whitehead and Travis Whitehead; great-grandson Dylan Raab; best friend Gloria Brown ad many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at French Funeral Home Saturday, Noivember 19, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Shaun M. Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery in Brazil. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
