William T. (Bill) Anderson, 96, at Core Nursing and Rehabilitation, Bedford, IN. He had been ill for several years.

Born March 14, 1909, in Clay County, he was the son of Otis Shattack and Elizabeth Kennedy Anderson.

He was married to Margaret Clara Haberle on April 14, 1932, she preceded him in death in 1979. He married Roberta Younger Anderson on November 1, 1979. He was a retired farmer and teacher.

He was a graduate of Purdue University in 1930, member of Erie Methodist Church, 50-year member of Rotary; first president of 4-H Fair Board; instrumental in formation of Springville Feeder Auction; Indiana State Fair Board member for 12 years and Farm Director for WTTV - RFD.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Anderson; two sons, William Tom Anderson, Jr. and his wife, Kay, all of Bedford; and Charles Elbert Anderson of Salem, IN; one daughter, Barbara Anderson Kline and husband, James of Bedford, IN; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; one brother, Otis K. Anderson of Vincennes and his wife, Vera Lou; one sister, Margaret Sorrell of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces, nephews and cousins; one stepson, Jerry Anderson and wife, Sally of Greenville, TN; one step-daughter, Jean Newman and husband, Bob of Rochester, NY; four step-grandchilden and five step-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lewis Anderson; three sisters, Ruth, Katharine and Charlotte; and one granddaughter, Robin Anderson.

Funeral services wil be held Saturday, November 26, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford, IN with Rev. Ted Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Bee Ridge Cemetery, Clay County, IN. Friends may call Friday, November 25, 2005, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Erie Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Assn.
