Heath W. Parksey, 19, of Brazil, died November 16, 2005.
He was born September 7, 1986 in Clay County, the son of Bruce Parksey and Ann Pell. He was a loving and kind young man who enjoyed music, poetry and had a thirst for knowledge. He found interest in the study of comparative religion and history. He was well known in his circle of friends and family for his quick wit and dry sense of humor. Above all, he placed his family as his first priority and valued each family member as only he could.
He is survived by his parents, Ann Pell Fuetter and Kurt Fuetter of Freedom, IN; one son, Dontay Sanders; three brothers Todd Britton, Jr; Jacob Parksey, Andrew Russell and one sister Harley Russell; grandparents, Robert Parksey of Brazil and Phyllis Akers of Terre Haute; uncles, John Pell and Tony Britton; a special aunt, Mary Gertrude Slack of Brazil; one nephew Trayton Kohler; and other extended family.
He enjoyed a special bond with his grandparents, Charles "Fran" Pell and Jane Pell, who preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 30, at 7:00 p.m. at French Funeral Home. Dr. Edward Warner, Professor Emeritus will be speaking. Friends and family will gather on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
