Janice Lynn Gates, 54, Brazil, died at 9:57 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at Regional Hopsital in Terre Haute.

She was born July 17, 1951, in Indianapolis, IN.

Survivors include two sisters, Rebecca Chase and Debra Krygowski, both of Indianapolis; and her alternative family, Teresa Rawson, Marlene Jester, Delores Burkhart and Edith Knight.
