She was born September 17, 1938, in Carbon, IN, to Russell Leon and Wilma Doane Thomas. Linda was a loving mother and grandmother who really enjoyed spending time with her family. She also was a member of MADD.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dwight "Butch" Routson and a brother Russell Leon Thomas Jr.
Survivors include a son, Michael E. Woodall; a special niece, Kimberly Glassburn and husband Shane; two brothers, James Hood and wife Norma; and Richard Hood and wife Roxie all of Brazil; a sister, Doris Martin and husband Elmer of Carbon; four grandchildren, Kayla, Kelsey, Jase Thomas and Kassidy Glassburn all of Brazil and several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Services will be Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at 1 p.m. in the Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave. in Brazil with visitation from 11 a.m. until services. Burial will be in the Calcutta Cemetery.
