He attended Texas Tech. University in Lubbock TX. He served in the Army for two years. David's expertise was in the financial realm. In recent years he was self-employed.
He is a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Brazil, IN, the Knights of Columbus, and the Terre Haute Bridge Center. Besides playing bridge, David enjoyed fishing and hunting.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Diann Ringo; his son, David Jay Ringo and his wife, Lori Ann, of Shavertown PA; a daughter, Jena Michele Ringo, of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Kathryn Crosby of San Antonio, TX; a brother, Dan E. Ringo, of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandchildren, Grace Irene Ringo, and Katharine Ann Ringo of Shavertown PA; several nieces and nephews; several cousins and an extended family.
David wishes to have a memorial mass service at Annunciation Church. This is tentatively scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m.
His family wished to thank Dr. Mark Schuld, Heritage Family Medicine and Dr. Anand Bhuptani, Terre Haute Pulmonary Dr. Chandra Reddy and the staff of the Hope Center; Dr. Scott Ackley and the staff of the Hux Center; and the Hospice of the Wabash Valley for the expert professional care David received.
