Anna Josephine Butler, 78, of Harmony, died at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
She was born May 21, 1927, in Clay County, Indiana, as the daughter of Reuben and Edith Siner Crosley. She attended Knightsville schools. Following school she married John F. Butler on January 4, 1945. She was employed for 13 years at Columbia Records. She was a member of the Brazil Bible Fellowship Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy Butler; one daughter, Terri Anderson; one brother, Martin Crosley; and one granddaughter, Kristen McKee.
She is survived by her husband John; three daughters, Martha Stearley of Farmersburg, IN, Mary Shaffer and husband Jim and Becky McKee and husband Matt all of Terre Haute; one son, Mark Butler and wife Maureen of Harmony; and one sister, Marie Parr, of Brazil. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday with Pastors Gordon Nelson and Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
