William Morlan, 81, of Brazil, died at 9:25 p.m. January 4, 2006 at Holly Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Facility in Brazil.

He was born March 10, 1924 to Oscar and Minnie Miller Morlan. Bill served in the United States Army during World War II. He also worked in construction and trucking.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James Morlan and a sister Esther Frazier.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Morlan and Jerry Morlan; two daughters Judy Bayles and Dolli O'Duane; a sister Betty McGaughey and a large extended family.

Graveside services will be at North Union Cemetery Saturday, January 7, 2006, at 1 p.m. French Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Visit www.frenchfuneralhome.com to light a candle in his memory.
