Nadine DeCamp, 81, Brazil, died Sunday evening at her residence. Her son found her Monday morning when she did not respond to attempts to call her.
For 20 years she had been a sales clerk at the former Oehler Department Store and later worked at Pell's Bargain Mart until her retirement.
She was born in Brazil on Dec. 9, 1924, the daughter of Earl and Mary Tunnah DeCamp. A 1943 graduate of Brazil High School, she had resided all her life here.
She was a life member of the First Baptist Church and was involved with mission work in the church. In addition she loved to crochet for nursing home patients and the local hospital.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. and Terry DeCamp, Reelsville; three grandchildren, Robert A. DeCamp, Reelsville, Amy McKain and husband, MIke, Brazil, and Tyler DeCamp, at home; three great-grandchildren, Ariana, Gordon and Katana McKain, all at home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary M. Kiefer.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Lawson-Miller Chapel. Rev. Mark Thompson will officiate, and burial will be in Calcutta Cemetery. Visitation is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
