Lillie Irene Cox, 83, passed away in her home on Feb. 21, 2006.

She was born in Concordia, Kansas, on Dec. 21, 1922, to Johnathan and Emily Mosher. She married Alfred Cox on February 7, 1944, and moved to Brazil in 1948. They had just celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Lillie enjoyed babysitting, sewing, cooking, storytelling, and taking care of all of her family. She had been employed at G. C. Murphy and Goodwill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Fred Mosher, Robert Mosher, sister, Mildred Pelland and daughter, Linda Zettler.

Lilllie is survived by her husband, three sons; Robert Cox of Brazil, Raymond Cox and wife Debbie of Brazil and John Cox and wife Kathy of Greencastle; and a daughter, Judy Jordan, and husband, Gary, of Brazil; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother; George Mosher of Clifton, Kansas.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at French Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Pippin officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Indiana School for the Blind, 7725 N College, Indianapolis.
