Diane Query, 57, Poland, Ind., died Monday, February 27, 2006, at 7280 Jordon Village Road, Poland.
Born March 7, 1948, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of William Dysart Crick and Isla Berniece (Walbring) Crick. She was an LPN and worked at various nursing homes and as an EMT for Operation Life. She was a member of the Jordan Village Presbyterian Church, Jordan Village, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Dysart Crick, on January 7, 1995; a brother, William Allen Crick and husband Norman Gary Markus on September 30, 1981.
Survivors include her husband, Robert K. Query, Poland; mother, Isla Berniece Crick, Spencer, Indiana; daughter, Jana (Howard) Grimes and husband Bruce, Greencastle; son, James Markus and wife Ji-Yova, California; three stepdaughters, Vicki Tingle and family and husband Keith, Cloverdale; Teresa Query and family, Cloverdale, and Sheila Bain and family, Cloverdale; three grandchildren, Angela Markus, Jerry Grimes and Andrew Markus; and a sister-in-law, Susan Crick, Brazil.
Services will be Saturday, March 4, 2006, at 2:30 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale, Ind. Rev. Tom Burns will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, March 3, 2006, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Poland Chapel Cemetery, Poland.
