Donald E. Neville, 72, of Brazil, died March 1, 2006, at 3:18 a.m. at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
He was born March 12, 1933, in Clay County, the son of Robert P. Neville and Malinda Wetnight Neville. He attended Brazil High School.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
On June 15, 1957, he married Barbara Jean Kempf Neville. He worked in the construction field and retired from Glenn-Gerry Brick. He also worked at American Vitrified and Arketex. He was a member of the Aluminum, Brick and Glass Workers Union. He enjoyed camping, fishing and western movies. He was a member of the Brazil Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his children, Debbie and Steve Snow, Bob and Leslie Neville, and Donald W. Neville all of Brazil and Miranda Neville and Chris Nuss of Seelyville; eight grandchildren, Robby Neville, Sarah Duncan and husband John, Jana Grigsby, Jason Ray and wife Stephanie, Donald W. Neville, Jr, Lucas Nuss, Steven Snow, Dawn Violet Dalgarn; nine great-grandchildren, Tyler Neville, Jessica Duncan, Kyah Duncan, Aaliyah Duncan, Ciarra Grigsby, Chloe Grigsby, Kirsten Grigsby, Hannah Ray, and Kadan Ray; three sisters, Lucy Loveland and husband Jim, Linda White, and Shirley Weaver; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara Neville, July 6, 2003, one son Dennis Dalgarn, one brother Edward Lee Neville, and one sister Millie Patterson.
Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at French Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Wetnight officiating. Burial will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. and again Friday prior to services.
