Arline W. Anderson, 88, of Brazil, died at Clay County Health Center at 6:20 p.m. March 7, 2006.
She was born in Staunton, IN May 10, 1917 to Ernest O. and Ruth E. (Tiefel) Wedel. Mrs. Anderson was a Brazil High School graduate and worked as a stenographer and typist at Detroit Diesel in the Allison Division in Indianapolis. She married Donald Anderson on June 7, 1936.. She enjoyed music, playing the piano and organ, crossword puzzles, crocheting, needle point and cooking. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great~grandmother and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings; Erroll Wedel, Ralph Wedel, Joan Nayarkas , and a grandson Bryan Anderson.
Survivors include a son Terry R. Anderson and wife Alberta of Indianapolis; two daughters Donna Brackney and husband William of Speedway, Indiana., and Judith Benell and husband Charles of Bridgeton, Indiana; grandchildren Kirk Anderson and wife Jolie, Kathy Foreman , Susan Weaver , Mark Benell and wife Jane, Cheryl Mager and husband James; great-grandchildren Tyler Anderson, Graham Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Brenna Foreman, Brooke Foreman, Kacie Benell, Shelby Benell, Caitlyn Mager, MaKenzie Mager, and Marle Mager. Brothers Robert Wedel and wife Jo of Brazil; sisters, Sandra Atkinson and husband Jack, and Sharon Hoffman, both of Brazil and many nieces and nephews..
Services will be at Lawson -- Miller Chapel Monday March 13, 2006, at 11 a.m. with Chris Greg officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the chapel Sunday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. To light a candle in her memory or send condolences visit www.lawson-millerchapel.com.
