Mary L. Langdon, of Brazil, formerly of Jordan Village, Ind., died Friday, March 17, 2006 at the Clay County Health Center in Brazil.

Born October 29, 1922, in Brazil, Ind., she was the daughter of Merlin Grant Allee and Edith Mildred (Archer) Allee. She was a homemaker, member of the Brazil Church of the Nazarene and the adult Sunday School Class.

She married Fred Langdon, Sr. on January 16, 1939 and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Fred Ross Langdon, Jr. on January 3, 1989, and Larry Wayne Langdon on November 13, 1942.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Frances Brewer, Varna, Ill., and Linda Richardson and husband, Jimmy, Clearwater, Fla.; son, William Everett Langdon, Jordan Village, Ind.; Robert E. Langdon, Brazil, and Richard Langdon and wife Sheila, Reelsville; sister, Marie Adamson, Greencastle, Ind.; brothers, Grant Allee, Brazil, and William Allee, Sheboygan, Wis; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Monday, March 20, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale, with the Rev. George T. Hewitt officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 20, 2006, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Carolina Cemetery in Poland.
