Paul T. Cox, Sr, 81 of Brazil passed away April 1, 2006, at 6:55 a.m. at St. Vincent Clay Hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1924, in Knightsville, the son of Roy Cox and Carrie Riley Cox. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. On April 18, 1948, he married Mary Ruth Johnson Cox, she survives. Following their marriage, the moved to Indianapolis where they raised their family. Paul began his work career at Royster Fertilizer and Agricultural Chemicals. He was a foreman with Royster from 1947-1966. He also worked for Bolls Furnace Company as an installer and as a service technician from 1966-1978. He last worked as a plumbing supervisor at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis retiring in 1990. Paul and Mary moved back to Brazil in 1991. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at Forest Park Golf Course and at several courses in Indianapolis. He was quite a handy-man and enjoyed working on his home and caring for his family.
