Florine L.Youngblood, 98, of Brazil passed away April 11, 2006, at 6 p.m. at the Clay County Health Center.

She was born August 28, 1907, in Clay County the daughter of August Mormans and Margaret Mitscher Mormans.

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ. She enjoyed roses, gardening, crocheting, and embroidery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer Youngblood on July 17, 1989, a brother Herbert Mormans; three sisters Margaret Barding, Helen Dray, and Betty Young; and two infant granddaughters.

She is survived by her children; Bonnie Jensen and husband Arthur of Terre Haute, Evelyn Reckerd and husband Thomas of Lafayette, Max Youngblood and wife Nancy of Brazil, Judy Naliborski and husband Ronald of Terre Haute, and Marilyn Stallcop and husband Bill also of Brazil; twenty-seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister in law, Helen Youngblood; many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.

Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at French Funeral Home with Pastor Dick McShanog officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.
