David Langley, 40, of Clay County, passed away April 14, 2006, in Clay County due to injuries sustained in a tree trimming accident.
He was born June 29, 1965, in Martinsville, Indiana, to Richard T. and Lona J. (Burke) Langley. David had worked with his family in the tree trimming business his entire life. He was a member of the Church of the First Born and enjoyed the out-of-doors, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Lona Langley of Brazil; two sons, Nathan Ray Langley and Joseph Thomas Langley, both of Clay City; a grandmother, Margaret Banyai of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; brothers, Richard Thomas Langley Jr., and Joshua Duane Langley, both of Clay City; and Harold Harding of Center Point; and a sister Rainna Jeanne Langley of Brazil.
Services will be at French Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at 1 p.m. with Elder Thomas Nation officiating. Burial will follow at McCullough-Stigler Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services.
