Annabelle Haverkamp, age 89, of Brazil, died at 2:34 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006 at Royal Oaks Healthcare in Terre Haute.
She was born Nov. 8, 1916 as the daughter of Thomas and Agnes Andrew Campbell. She attended the Weaver Grade School, Brazil Junior High School and graduated from Brazil High School with the Class of 1934. She married William Haverkamp on July 27, 1936. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 2001. He preceded Annabelle in death on April 13, 2002.
She was a life-long member of the Epworth United Methodist Church of Brazil and an active member of the Clay County Historical Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother, Harold Campbell.
She is survived by two sons, James Haverkamp and his wife Catherine of Terre Haute and Tom Haverkamp and his wife Sharon of Rockville; two granddaughters, Janeane Curley and her husband Dan of Terre Haute and Amy Phillips and her husband Carl of Paris, Illinois and five great-grandchildren, Kelli and Kenneth Phillips and Hanna, Connor and Layne Curley.
Visitation will be 4 -- 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Moore Funeral Home and Thursday, 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Voll officiating.
