Irma Frances Robison, age 88, of Brazil, died at 8:26 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Clay Health Center in Brazil.
She was born April 5, 1918, in Brazil, as the daughter of Jay and Carrie Miller Hudson. She attended Brazil High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She graduated with the Class of 1936. She married Andrew H. Robison January 8, 1939, in Brazil. She was a loving mother and working housewife. She was employed as an Avon representative and also worked at the G.C. Murphy Store in downtown Brazil. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brazil.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda S. Kidd and her husband Richard of Glen Allen, Virginia; one son, John A. Robison and his wife Gail of Englewood, Ohio; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Byers of Brazil; four nieces, Nedra Carlton of Brazil, Sandra Shanks of Paris, Illinois, Judy Gallagher of Marietta, Georgia and Susan Murphy Smith of Indianapolis and one nephew, Gayle Byers of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Tony Alstott officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Run Cemetery in Bridgeton.
