Ersilia "Lia" De Marino, 84, of Brazil passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2006, in Cloverleaf Health Care Facility in Knightsville.

She was born Feb. 7, 1922, in Massa Lubrense, Italy, to Nicola and Luisa Palomba De Marino; she came to the United States in 1946 and became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1949.

She was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church and a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by three sisters, Elena Bonomo and her husband, Jacob "Jack," of Brazil and Ines and Lorenzina De Marino of Argentina.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday, April 24, 2006, in Annunciation Catholic Church with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2006, in the French Funeral Home. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery.
