James Edward "Little Eddie" Covey, 35, of Poland died Thursday, April 20, 2006, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born Feb. 25, 1971, at Noblesville, Indiana, to Ed and Judy (Summers) McCay Covey.

He was a factory worker.

Survivors include his fiancee, Carrie Pryor; his father, Ed Covey; his mother Judy (Dan) McCay; a daughter, Chelsey Covey; four brothers, Greg Ashby, Brad Ashby, Bruce Ashby and Matt Piper; three sisters, Tina Pharis, Christi Covey and Sherry Townsend; his grandfather, Richard B. Grimes; two stepchildren, Charlie Cooper and Caiti Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.

The service was Sunday at 5 p.m. in Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor dave Nicholson officiating.

Burial was in Poland Chapel Cemetery, Poland.
