Ellen Irene Alexander, 80, of Coatesville, Indiana, passed away April 24, 2006, at the Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.

Survivors include her husband, Shirrell Alexander; a son, William Kumpf Jr.; a daughter, Virginia Boyce; a stepson, Stephen Alexander; sisters, Edith Gummere and Louise Kylander, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted April 27, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home in Greencastle, Indiana. Visitation will be April 26, 2006, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, Indiana.
