Robert J. "Bob" Wampler, 69 of Carbon, passed away April 24, 2006, in the St. Vincent Clay Hospital.

He was born June 24, 1936. He was a cook on a ship in the U.S. Navy and later worked in the constructing trade and worked trimming trees for Townsend's Tree Service. He enjoyed bingo, gardening, fishing and going to gambling boats.

He is survived by a large extended family.

At his request cremation will take place. There will be no services. French Funeral Home has been entrusted with the services.
