Shirley Wall, 71, of Clay City died April 28, 2006, at 9:50 p.m. at her residence.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1936 to Clarence Shepard and Treva Mae Grey. She married Lee Roy Wall on Aug. 3, 1957.
Shirley was a cafeteria worker at the IU Medical Center in Bloomington. She participated in Head Start, enjoyed mushroom hunting and fishing. She was a giving person who helped deliver food baskets to the needy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
She is survived by four sons, David Wall of Clay City, Ron Wall and his wife, Dianne of Center Point, Jerry Wall of Jasonville, and Roger Wall of Cory; two daughters, Charlotte Gorby and husband, Dean of Center Point, and Kathryn Fulk and husband, Jonathan of Coal City; 24 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rosemary Bixler of Bowling Green, Alice Schivo of Poland, and Treva Mae Shepard.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 5 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Rusty Deckard officiating. Burial will follow at Fiscus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time.
