Pauline Rubeck Fritzinger, 94, of Bloomington, Indiana, died on May 14, 2006, at 1:35 p.m. in Bloomington Hospital.

She was born April 6, 1923, in Owen County, the daughter of Clarence and Bonnie Hunsicker Rubeck. She married Charles Edwin Fritzinger on June 8, 1935.

Pauline was employed as the Poland switchboard operator during the 1950s. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, mushroom hunting and spending time outdoors. She was also a devoted mother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant daughter, Janet Arlene and her siblings; Refina Ulrich, Bernice Winders and Lewis Rubeck.

Survivors include her daughters, Thea Fritzinger Brown and husband, Charlie of Bloomington and LoEda Cassiday and husband, Mike, of Atlanta, Georgia. She also leaves behind four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Thursday, May 18, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Wilkinson Cemetery in Poland with Rev. Myron Welty officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, IN 47834.
