H. Elden "Pee Wee" Lowdermilk, 81, of Brazil, passed away May 23, 2006, at Holly Hills Healthcare Facility. He was born July 5, 1924, in Center Point the son of Hervey Lowdermilk and Arlona Cooprider Lowdermilk. He attended school in Ashboro and then joined the U.S. Navy. He served in the Navy from 1941 to 1945. He returned to Brazil and started working at J. D. Pollom & Son in 1945 washing cars. He also worked for Mark E. French and Son as the parts and service man until his retirement in 1980. He also worked for NAPA thru 1987 and also part time after retirement. April 2, 1955, he married Norma Jean Collins Lowdermilk, she survives.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 2 and the LST Association. He enjoyed playing golf and working in his rose garden.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Lowdermilk; two sisters, Virginia Foulke of Greencastle and Wanda Boyce of Brazil; one sister-in-law, Evangeline Latta of Cory; several nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Center Point Cemetery with Pastor Anthony Ferriell officiating. Visitation will be at the cemetery one hour prior to services.
