Linda M. Wallen, 56, of Brazil, passed away May 29, 2006, in her home with her loving family surrounding her.
She was born June 19, 1949 in Parke County the daughter of David Batchelor and Emily Gleynn Batchelor. She attended Rosedale High School.
She married Terry Wallen Sr. on July 27, 1967, he survives. She enjoyed feeding the birds at her home, listening to her wind chimes and spending time with family. She and her sisters enjoyed crocheting together. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister and brother-in-law, Margo and Daniel Kline; one nephew, Tim Floyd; and a brother-in-law, Jim Wallen.
She is survived by her husband Terry; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Don Randall; son Terry Wallen Jr. and fiancé Nancy Pastorius; sisters-in-law Ellen Long and husband, John, of Franklin, Indiana, Edna Johnson of Brownsville, Kentucky, Millie Smith and husband, Terry, of Greencastle, Indiana; four grandchildren, Heather Randall, Cody Randall, Alexzandria Wallen and Kreig Wallen; four brothers Reynolds Batchelor and wife, Bertha, Andy Batchelor and wife, Rose, Rick Batchelor and wife, Susan, and Randy "Little Joe" Batchelor; two sisters, Sandy Floyd and husband, Eddie, and Ruth Floyd and husband, Tim, all of Brazil; many nieces, nephews and a large extended family including family in Belgium, Europe.
Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at French Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Pippin officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Light a candle in her memory at www.frenchfuneralhome.com
