Jeffery Lewis Skinner, 56, formerly of Richmond, living in Terre Haute, died Monday, May 29, 2006 unexpectedly at his home.

He was born June 3, 1949, in Richmond and lived in Terre Haute four years.

Jeff was a 1967 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and 1971 graduate of Ball State University. He received his APICS in production inventory control certification and used these credentials in the manufacturing industry. He wa employed at Eaton Corporation in Richmond, Grote Industries in Madison and Great Dane Trailers in Brazil.

Survivors include his son, Jason T. and his wife, Donnie Skinner, of Little Rock, Arkansas; one daughter, Sarah Skinner, of New York City; one granddaughter, Kaylee Grace Skinner; his mother, Betty L. Berger, of Richmond, Indiana; his brother, Timothy J., and his wife, Patricia Skinner, of East Amherst, New York; three nieces; and one nephew. One daughter, Meagan Michelle Skinner, died in 1992 and his father, Joseph Skinner died in 1981.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2006, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Gilmer Smith officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
