Faye R. DeBoard Butler, 64 of Goshen, Ohio, and formerly of Brazil, passed away June 6, 2006, in the Bethesa North Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born Aug. 19, 1941, in Bowling Green. She was a factory worker for the Ford Motor Company for 18 years retiring in 1992. She loved working in her garden and with her flowers, riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles and she lived for her animals and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Johnson; stepfather, Frank Wright; a great-grandchild, Alexis; a brother, Bob Wright; and three sisters, Mary Gampher, Brenda Wright and Maxine Wright.
Survivors include her children, Debbie Merritt of Indianapolis, William L. Smith, Indianapolis and Cheryl Smith of Florida and Shannon Butler of Goshen, Ohio; grandchildren, Angel Mann, Melissa Merritt, Amanda Britton and husband Jeff, Tabitha Smith, Glen Long and William L. Smith Jr.; great-grandchildren, Chelcie, Ashlyn, Tyler, Aaron, Ben, Trinity and Kennedy. Also surviving is her sister and best friend, Carol Walker and her husband, Jerry of Brazil; three brothers, Sherman DeBoard of Indianapolis, Donald Adams of Kentucky and Frank Wright Jr. of Indiana; a niece Heather Padgett and husband, Josh, of Tennessee and a large extended family.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2006, in the French Funeral home with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown, Ind.
