Auretta Frances Paulk, 94, of Brazil, died 3:12 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2006.
She was born Sept. 26, 1911 in Linton, Indiana, the daughter of William and Ida May Williams Geary.
Following high school she was employed in manufacturing at area companies including The Ad and Simplicity in Terre Haute. She was a member for over 66 years of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She collected clowns gathering over 200 and cooking for friends and family.
She married Virgil Paulk on May 9, 1934. He preceded her in death in 1972.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Arthur Geary, Ola Grandville Geary and Woodrow Geary; two sisters, Artie Sanderson and Rosa Brunner and two nephews, BJ O'Leary and Alan O'Leary.
She is survived by one sister, Rosemary Marshall of Lakeland, Florida; foster son, William Geary and his wife, Ginny, of Georgia; adopted daughter, Lynda Shook and her husband, Cecil, of Brazil and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be 4 p.m. Monday at Fair View Cemetery in Linton.
